Are you a student looking for an internship that will validate your degree and launch your career? An internship titled Internship Advanced Engineering & System Studies has opened at Airbus India in Bengaluru. The work centres on modelling and simulation of aircraft systems (e.g. electrical, fuel, landing gear) to improve design and support maintenance, using in-house and commercial tools.
This is ideally a 6 month internship starting in January 2027, with flexibility on the date. The position requires a security clearance or eligibility to obtain one from recognized authorities.
Your Missions
- Design Support: Learn the design, development, and optimization of aerospace components and systems for major aircraft programs (e.g. A320, A330, A350) under senior staff guidance.
- Technical Analysis: Support engineering analysis of system and component performance data and help troubleshoot technical challenges with data-driven solutions.
- Tool Utilization: Learn and apply industry-standard engineering tools and methodologies for design, analysis, and validation.
- R&D Participation: Learn aircraft system and component technology maturation, using tradeoff studies, feasibility studies and prototyping.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in a collaborative environment on new systems, products and components, with exposure to R&D, design, manufacturing, and testing.
- Agile Development: Learn development of Simulation Development Environment applications using Agile methodologies.
- Documentation: Learn to prepare technical reports and documentation that capture the essential parts of a study and meet specified requirements.
- Market & Tech Research: Build a general understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Your Profile
You should be pursuing a technical undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation and Control.
- Basic inclination towards aerospace
- Basic behavioural modelling of systems using MATLAB or Simulink
- Programming in C, C++, MATLAB, Java, C#, or Python
- Strong problem solving and logical thinking
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work well in a team
- English: good understanding
