Job Description

Airbus is offering a 12-month apprenticeship opportunity within the Digital Infrastructure & Platforms department in Bangalore, expected to begin in July 2026 (date may be flexible). This program provides fresh graduates the opportunity to start their careers in a global aerospace company with strong expertise in digital innovation and technology.

The role focuses on supporting Airbus’ digital transformation by helping implement solutions that strengthen the data value chain across the organization. These initiatives enable the effective use of data to optimize business processes and create new business value.

As part of the Digital Infrastructure & Platforms team, the apprentice will work with enterprise-grade technologies and contribute to understanding business needs and translating them into IT solutions.

Role Overview

The apprentice will collaborate with leads and product owners to analyze business requirements and help convert them into effective IT solutions. The position also supports infrastructure platforms and applications, ensuring systems remain scalable, secure, monitored, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with leads and product owners to analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Support and maintain infrastructure platforms and applications with a focus on scalability, security, and availability.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and conduct trend analysis to identify preventive actions.
• Provide L2 and L3 support, including issue analysis and resolution.
• Use internal tools such as ServiceNow for incident and service management.
• Track issues until closure within agreed timelines and follow escalation procedures for unresolved cases.
• Guide users through troubleshooting steps and provide timely feedback.
• Handle multiple support requests simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Support software quality assurance processes, including testing activities and resolution of identified issues.
