Overview
Software Engineer Apprentice
Airbus India is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for a Software Engineer focused on Python and React or full stack development. The role is based in Bangalore and is part of the DP department responsible for Engineering and PLM initiatives. The program is planned as a 12‑month apprenticeship starting around Q2 2026, with some flexibility in the start date.
This role may require eligibility for security clearance by appropriate authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of software solutions using full stack technologies, primarily React and Python.
- Learn and work with multiple technology components while continuously developing technical capabilities.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and current trends in software development.
Learning and Development
Throughout the apprenticeship, a designated tutor will guide you in defining professional goals and building relevant technical skills. The program aims to strengthen programming knowledge and practical development experience.
- Build a strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object‑oriented concepts.
- Gain exposure to real software development projects and practical implementation.
- Develop familiarity with development practices such as Agile or Scrum.
- Work with web technologies including React, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Technical Environment
- Programming experience in at least one language, particularly Python.
- Frontend development with React.
- Working knowledge of Linux or Unix environments and scripting.
