Job Description
Airbus India works on product development for customers such as airlines, MROs, and aircraft leasing companies. These products aim to improve operational efficiency by optimizing activities including maintenance operations, flight planning, and ground handling.
The role involves working closely with customers to understand operational challenges and developing innovative products using modern technologies within Agile development practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as a Test Automation Engineer for the Skywise suite of products.
- Collaborate with the product owner and development team to define program increments and iteration scope, contributing functional testing inputs for planning and prioritization.
- Support the scrum master in establishing the definition of done and ensuring built-in quality.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test designs, and testing strategies.
- Analyze requirements based on specifications.
- Define and create automation steps according to specifications.
- Develop code to implement automation steps.
- Execute automated tests on the required infrastructure.
- Generate and analyze test reports.
- Participate in reviews of automation deliverables.
- Collaborate with automation developers to implement automation across multiple features in parallel.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks through evaluations and feasibility analysis.
- Evaluate and adopt modern tools to improve the automation framework and testing processes.
- Manage and maintain test environment setup.
Skills
- Background in aviation is preferred, with willingness to learn domain concepts.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end automation testing.
- Experience with performance testing and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Jenkins pipeline, and AWS.
- Working knowledge of UFT.
- Experience in automation development, debugging, and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Ability to maintain testing, configuration, release, and deployment processes.
- Participate across the testing lifecycle and report defects through defined processes.
- Use testing tools and methodologies effectively to reduce manual testing effort.
