Job Description
The FSTD Logistics Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for all logistics support activities related to Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD). The role focuses on managing logistics operations, coordinating shipments, and maintaining inventory for hardware components used in simulator systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle logistics operations and store management for hardware parts. Experience with simulators or training devices is considered an advantage.
- Ensure completion of Dangerous Goods (DG) training and maintain authorization to sign DG or Non-DG certificates.
- Independently support logistics operations by understanding team requirements and coordinating related activities.
- Stay informed about logistics workflows, shipment processes, and payment terms, including customs-related payments.
- Work with registered logistics vendors to manage export and import activities.
- Monitor export control requirements for shipments entering or leaving the training center.
- Maintain and manage inventory storage and upkeep at the center.
- Collaborate regularly with the FSTD maintenance team, logistics vendors, procurement teams, and finance departments.
- Support optimization and improvement of existing logistics processes.
- Manage logistics data using the tools available within the team.
- Coordinate with operational teams to understand requirements and ensure efficient inventory availability.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with export control requirements.
- Initiate collaborative improvements with the FSTD maintenance team to streamline requests and timelines.
- Implement export control requirements within the logistics process.
