Job Description
An apprenticeship opportunity for an Industrialisation Engineer is available at Airbus India in Bengaluru. The role is part of the Industrialisation department, supporting manufacturing engineering activities.
This program is expected to run for approximately 12 months starting in July 2026 (start date may be flexible). The role requires eligibility for security clearance from the appropriate authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D digital mock-ups of industrial plants and prepare methodology documentation and best practices to support industrial teams from concept design to final industrial system deployment. Assist with digital twin and industrial system development.
- Support manufacturing engineering activities that enable the industrialisation of aerostructures at supplier locations in India.
- Develop a data product that helps manufacturing engineers map supplier data to standard OPC UA information models. Validate the data solution and provide user interfaces for data access.
- Work with digital manufacturing tools on 3DEXPERIENCE for tasks such as routing creation, As-Prepared BoM, ISOI updates, work order updates, build process and M-BOM definition, and preparation of work instructions.
- Program and troubleshoot robotic systems, support virtual commissioning activities across Airbus plants, and document robotic application development or modifications.
During the apprenticeship, a dedicated tutor will guide you in defining professional goals and developing relevant technical skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Fresh graduate with a technical undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
- No prior full-time professional work experience. Internships and academic projects are acceptable.
- Ability to commit to the full 12‑month apprenticeship period.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals in mechanical, industrial, or computer science domains
- Basic knowledge of industrialisation principles
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, or Java with understanding of OOP concepts
- Basic knowledge of industrial data acquisition and data management
Fluent English is required. The role also expects awareness of compliance requirements and a commitment to act with integrity to support the company's long-term success.
