
As an Industrial Design and Architecture Engineer, you will support company objectives focused on improving the design of plants and stations that enable the industrial system to scale for existing programs and build a robust system for future aircraft generations.
The role includes working with the Industrial Digital Mock-Up (DMU) and preparing related methodology documentation. You will help define, develop, and deploy industrial systems and digital twin capabilities within the scope of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives. The position also involves developing best practices that support industrial teams from conceptual design through implementation of the final industrial system.
You will gain exposure across multiple programs, including the current Airbus aircraft fleet such as A320, A330, and A350, as well as future initiatives like the Zero-E programs.
The role does not require one individual to possess all the above skills. A basic understanding of these areas is expected.
This position offers exposure to multiple career paths within industrial systems, including Industrial Digital Mock-Up, ergonomics and health and safety analysis, robotic simulation, and jig and tooling design with tolerancing.
