Job Description
The Engineer, Flight Dynamics role focuses on aircraft model integration and analysis on simulation platforms. The work involves studying aircraft motion and behaviour through flight dynamics analysis and supporting end to end validation of aircraft simulations.
The position contributes to modelling, simulation validation, and analysis activities that support the development and evaluation of aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate flight dynamics models and system models using Airbus standard tools and methods.
- Validate system and physics models integrated on the target simulation platforms.
- Analyze aircraft flight dynamics behaviour as aircraft physics and system models evolve.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of validation plans to ensure functional coverage.
- Provide support to simulation platform users.
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of flight mechanics and aerodynamics.
- Understanding of modelling and simulation concepts (preferred).
- Programming experience with C, MATLAB, Python, and UNIX environments.
