Overview
Job Description
- Design, develop and perform verification and validation (V&V) activities for flight control systems.
- Understand system architecture and analyze proposed design changes or modifications.
- Carry out modeling and simulation activities to support design maturity, verification and certification processes.
- Assist with integration of models across different simulation platforms.
- Collaborate with system designers and testing teams during V&V campaigns across multiple aircraft programs.
- Review and interpret applicable system designs and respond to technical queries raised by customers such as airlines or other system design offices.
- Participate in technical discussions and meetings with various stakeholders.
- Develop tools that support design, development, analysis and verification activities.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Knowledge of control systems, estimation and flight guidance and control concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or SCADE.
- Basic understanding of aerospace systems and aircraft operations.
