Job Description
The role focuses on the design, development, and verification and validation (V&V) of flight control systems. The engineer will work on system analysis, modeling, and simulation to support design maturity and certification activities across aircraft programs.
- Design and develop flight control system components, including verification and validation activities.
- Review system design and evaluate design changes or modifications.
- Perform modeling and simulation to support system maturity, V&V activities, and certification efforts.
- Assist with the integration of models across different simulation platforms.
- Collaborate with system designers and testing teams during V&V campaigns for multiple aircraft programs.
- Analyze system design aspects and respond to technical queries from customers such as airlines or other system design offices.
- Participate in technical discussions and meetings with various stakeholders.
- Develop tools that support design, analysis, development, and verification processes.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of control systems, estimation and control, and flight guidance and control concepts.
- Experience with tools such as Matlab, Simulink, or Scade.
- Basic knowledge of aerospace systems and related domains.
