Job Description
Job Profile and Deliverables
- Report to the Manager, Training Scheduling and Planning at the Airbus India Training Center.
- Forecast and plan flight training courses conducted by the Airbus India Training Centre, and prepare course programs using the appropriate tools and resources.
- Manage facility bookings (dry slots) and instructor bookings (wet slots) efficiently.
- Coordinate with Central Operations to provide solutions such as instructors and equipment for optimal resource utilization and to address customer requests promptly.
- Schedule and optimize allocation of resources including classrooms, instructors, and equipment in line with regulatory requirements and AITC commercial and operational objectives.
- Work with the Training Standardization team to ensure effective planning for instructor qualification and update programs.
- Coordinate with the Flight Simulation and Training Devices (FSTD) team and the internal Quality team to support effective maintenance planning of training devices.
- Manage last minute schedule changes by collaborating with various stakeholders including airlines and internal Airbus teams to ensure smooth training delivery.
- Participate in internal quality audits and external regulatory or customer audits.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely clearance of subcontracted simulator invoices.
- Work with the Central Operations team for training data collection, consolidation, and reporting.
- Monitor, control, and coordinate the implementation of clauses in Aircraft Purchase Agreements related to training matters, along with Training Customer Service Agreements.
- Ensure that key milestones for customer training projects are completed on schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capability to take initiative and perform effectively under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and manage demanding situations.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of Indian or international aviation regulations related to flight training.
- Interest in aeronautics and aviation.
