Job Description
Job Profile & Deliverables
- Reports to the Manager, Training Scheduling and Planning at Airbus India Training Centre.
- Responsible for forecasting and planning flight training courses conducted by the Airbus India Training Centre. The role involves preparing and sharing course programs using the appropriate tools and resources.
- Manage facility bookings (dry slots) and instructor bookings (wet slots) in an efficient manner.
- Coordinate with Central Operations to arrange instructors, equipment, and other resources for optimal utilization and to respond to customer requests.
- Schedule and optimize allocation of classrooms, instructors, and equipment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational objectives.
- Work with the Training Standardization team to plan instructor qualification and update schedules.
- Coordinate with the Flight Simulation and Training Devices (FSTD) team and the internal Quality team to support training device maintenance planning.
- Handle last minute schedule changes by collaborating with airlines and internal Airbus teams to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
- Participate in internal quality audits and external regulatory or customer audits.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for timely clearance of subcontracted simulator invoices.
- Work with Central Operations for training data collection, consolidation, and reporting.
- Monitor and coordinate the implementation of training related clauses in Aircraft Purchase Agreements and Training Customer Service Agreements.
- Ensure all key milestones related to customer training projects are completed as scheduled.
Requirements
- Minimum graduate or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite tools.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of Indian or international aviation regulations related to flight training is desirable.
- Interest in the aeronautical domain.
