Apprenticeship: MaRS – Business Efficiency & Innovation

Airbus India is offering a 12‑month apprenticeship within the Maintenance and Retrofit Solutions department in Bangalore. The program is expected to begin around July or August 2026 and provides exposure to digital technologies, research, and innovation within a global aerospace organization.

The team focuses on producing scheduled maintenance services, delivering retrofit solution packages to maintain aircraft airworthiness, and designing specialized tools and ground support equipment used by airlines and maintenance organizations.

Main Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from technical, graphical, or numerical sources to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting business efficiency.
• Propose concepts or IT solutions that address efficiency gaps or trends identified through data analysis.
• Engineer computer vision or geometric deep learning models to detect automated changes between CAD assemblies and highlight architectural differences through image analysis.
• Assist with the creation of schematics and layouts for electronic control units used in automated Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Mine large datasets and build interactive dashboards that provide insights for stakeholders and support decision making.
• Support the development of predictive models and perform statistical analysis to improve internal processes and business outcomes.
• Develop multimodal AI models capable of converting 2D engineering drawings and technical illustrations into structured documentation using predefined engineering rules.
• Contribute to integrating sensors and microcontrollers into mechanical systems to enhance machine intelligence and safety, including assembly and functional testing of automated tool prototypes.
