Job Description
Airbus is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join its engineering team. The role suits recent graduates or early career candidates interested in building software solutions and expanding their development skills.
The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. The position focuses on developing software tools and implementing applications for the aircraft domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers to understand project requirements and technical objectives.
- Assist in the design and development of software applications and supporting tools.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to maintain software quality.
- Take part in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback.
- Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve technical issues.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and object oriented concepts.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience from academic projects or internships related to software development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of Unix, Linux, or Windows server environments.
- Basic awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS and DevOps tools.
- Understanding of data structures, datasets, and data products.
- Familiarity with code analysis tools and development IDEs.
- Knowledge of software development practices such as Agile or Scrum.
