Job Description

The Associate Systems Engineer is part of the IIDPPT siglum team located in India and is responsible for TDM (VPM) and related TDM products. The role requires strong collaboration with global Airbus teams and involvement in the evolution of the TDM application landscape by leveraging new digital capabilities.

The position focuses on supporting application systems, contributing to architecture design, and assisting with cloud adoption and DevOps practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members to support critical application systems.
• Ensure that components of the technical architecture, including interface design, are properly integrated and documented.
• Assist with implementing and migrating solutions to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Provide technical support and maintain quality across all project phases.
• Partner with technical departments to validate new applications, tools, technologies, and solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps initiatives and methodologies for secure cloud-based environments.
• Promote best practices related to security, architecture design, system connectors, and development.
• Work with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies used in software development.
• Develop database queries and support application-level data operations.
• Participate in PLM and CAD tool environments such as 3DEXPERIENCE, VPM, ENOVIA V6, and CATIA V5/V6.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, publish, and operate web applications and websites.
• Deploy scalable and highly available applications with proper monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, QA, and production environments.

• Provide technical direction and implement procedures to improve service delivery.
• Monitor service performance, prepare reports, and communicate KPIs to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, escalate issues when necessary, and propose corrective actions.
• Improve processes to ensure efficient information flow and timely delivery.
• Ensure team availability with proper backup planning for service continuity.
• Investigate service or project concerns related to quality and timelines.
