Job Description

The role focuses on supporting Flight Physics capability development by translating technical needs into method and tool specifications. The engineer will contribute to the design, development, and validation of Flight Physics methods and tools while ensuring multidisciplinary integration to meet technical and user requirements.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analyze business context, design and document solutions, present them to stakeholders, and support project teams during implementation.
  • Maintain alignment of software development activities with established processes, methodologies, rules, and tool chains.
  • Carry out feasibility studies within complex and heterogeneous project environments.
  • Collaborate within cross functional teams and contribute to a cooperative team environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, or Computer Science.
  • Exposure to GUI development and workflow automation.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Understanding of behavioural modelling and simulation with familiarity in requirements specifications.
  • Knowledge of geometric modelling, analytical geometry, and linear algebra.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently when required.
  • Fluent English communication.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java (Eclipse RCP), or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SAFe or Agile working practices.
  • Experience with high performance computing environments, remote desktops, or job batching.
  • Exposure to cloud based programming.
  • Experience working with CATIA or geometry related tools.
