Apprenticeship for Avionics Systems Engineering
Airbus India is offering a 12 month apprenticeship within the Systems department in Bengaluru. The role provides exposure to engineering activities related to aircraft and helicopter systems including propulsion controls, fluid and hydromechanical systems, flight warning systems, and communication, navigation and surveillance technologies.
The program is planned to begin in August 2026 and is designed to help graduates gain practical experience in aerospace systems and software engineering practices used in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on systems or software engineering assignments related to the design, development, verification, and certification of aircraft or helicopter systems.
- Support system integration activities and verification and validation (V&V) tasks.
- Contribute to automation and improvement initiatives that assist the design, development, or testing of aircraft systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and help resolve in service events reported by customers.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of technical documentation including system requirements, design material, and certification compliance records.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain hands on exposure to aerospace systems and software engineering processes used across the aviation sector.
- Develop understanding of aircraft systems and their operation during flight and ground activities.
- Work within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams while developing collaboration and technical skills.
The program is supported by a mentor who will help guide learning objectives and professional development during the apprenticeship.
