Job Description

Airbus India offers a 12 month apprenticeship opportunity within the Systems department in Bengaluru. This program is designed for graduates who want to begin their careers in aerospace systems or software engineering while working in a global and innovation driven environment.

The role is part of the Systems team responsible for aircraft and propulsion controls, fluid and hydromechanical systems, flight warning systems, communication navigation and surveillance systems, and helicopter avionics.

Your Mission

You will support engineering activities related to the design, development, verification, and certification of aircraft or helicopter systems while gaining practical experience in aerospace engineering processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work on systems or software engineering assignments supporting the design, development, verification, and certification of aircraft or helicopter systems.
  • Assist with system integration activities and verification and validation (V&V).
  • Support automation and improvement initiatives that help enhance the design, development, or testing of aircraft systems.
  • Help prepare and maintain technical documentation covering system requirements, design details, and certification compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis and assist in resolving in service events reported by customers.

Throughout the apprenticeship, a tutor will guide you in defining professional objectives and developing technical capabilities.

  • Gain hands on exposure to systems and software engineering processes used in the aerospace industry.
  • Build understanding of aircraft systems and how they operate during flight operations.
  • Develop collaboration skills while working within multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering teams.
