
Airbus India is offering a 12‑month apprenticeship within the Digital Infrastructure & Platform department in Bangalore. The program is expected to begin around July 2026 and provides the opportunity to work with enterprise‑level digital platforms and aerospace technology while gaining practical experience in IT systems and software development.
The role focuses on supporting Airbus' digital transformation initiatives. This includes helping build and maintain solutions that enable the data value chain across the organization, improving business processes and enabling new digital capabilities.
As an Apprentice Software/System Engineer, you will collaborate with leads and product owners to understand business needs and translate them into effective IT solutions. The role involves supporting infrastructure platforms and applications that are scalable, secure, highly available, and well monitored.
During the apprenticeship, participants will gain hands‑on exposure to Airbus digital platforms and operational processes. Success is measured through technical learning, certifications, hands‑on platform knowledge, collaboration with teams, ownership of small projects, and the ability to resolve issues independently.
