
An apprenticeship opportunity for the role of Apprentice - Security Engineer is available at Airbus India in Bangalore. The position is part of the Cyber Security department, supporting the digital cybersecurity initiatives across Airbus infrastructure.
This program is designed as a 12 month apprenticeship expected to begin in May 2026. During the program, the apprentice will work alongside cybersecurity specialists while gaining practical exposure to modern security technologies and research activities.
Throughout the program, a dedicated tutor will guide the apprentice in defining professional goals and building technical skills in cybersecurity.
The role is intended for fresh graduates with a technical undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Candidates should have no prior full time professional work experience, though internships or academic projects are acceptable.
Applicants should demonstrate foundational knowledge of SOC processes, the Cyber Kill Chain, and common attack techniques. Familiarity with Windows and Linux internals, cloud security concepts, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is expected. Awareness of tools and concepts related to SIEM, CASB, CNAPP, or CSPM is beneficial.
Fluent English communication is required. The role also requires a strong commitment to ethical practices and awareness of compliance considerations within cybersecurity operations.
