Apprenticeship Opportunity

Airbus India is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for the role of Industrialisation Engineer in Bengaluru. The position is part of the Industrialisation department, which handles manufacturing engineering activities supporting Airbus industrial systems and operations.

This program is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with a planned start around July 2026 (date may be flexible). The role may require eligibility for security clearance by recognized authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 3D digital mock-ups of manufacturing plants and prepare methodology documentation and best practices to support industrial teams from conceptual design through the final industrial system. Contribute to the development and deployment of industrial systems and digital twin capabilities.
  • Support manufacturing engineering activities related to the industrialisation of aerostructures at suppliers located in India.
  • Develop a data product that helps manufacturing engineers map supplier data to standardized OPC UA information models. Validate the solution and provide an interface for users to access the data.
  • Work with digital manufacturing tools within 3DEXPERIENCE to produce routing, As-Prepared BoM, ISOI, and work order updates. Contribute to build process definition, M-BOM creation, and preparation of work instructions.
  • Program and troubleshoot robotic systems, support virtual commissioning activities across Airbus plants, and document robotic application development or modifications.
