
Team: Structures – Thermal Solutions
The Thermal Solutions team operates within the Structural Analysis group of the Structures department. The team focuses on ensuring aircraft structural integrity by performing thermal assessments of aircraft structures and assemblies.
This group develops and applies expertise in thermal and multiphysics analysis using FE/FV and CFD-based approaches. These analyses support the understanding of temperature effects on aircraft systems and structural components.
The role involves performing thermal analysis on aircraft structures during normal operating conditions as well as system failure scenarios. The engineer will also use CFD-based multiphysics methods to carry out detailed thermal evaluations.
The position supports aircraft design by assessing the influence of thermal loads on structures and ensuring structural integrity through analysis and simulation.
Engineering tools used include NX11, Simcenter 3D, NX-IDEAS, TMG, Star CCM+, FLUENT, and CATIA.
Basic programming familiarity in languages such as C, Python, Fortran, or Java is considered beneficial.
Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, or Automobile engineering.
