Internship Overview

Airbus India is offering a Business Analyst – Quality Methods & Tool internship within the Quality department responsible for Physical Systems. The position is based in Bangalore and is designed as a 6 month program expected to start around June 2026, with some flexibility in the start date.

The internship provides an opportunity to work in an international aerospace company focused on digital technologies, research, and innovation while gaining practical experience within quality systems and enterprise tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Testing Strategy, Execution and Quality Assurance (70%)

• Design and prepare comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for SAP QM functionalities within the product.
• Execute testing cycles including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing with SAP PP and MM modules, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track and manage defects across the testing lifecycle and coordinate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create and manage structured test plans using tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
• Ensure all testing activities follow internal quality procedures and relevant industry standards.

2. Functional Analysis (30%)

• Work with SAP QM processes related to inspection processing, inspection lot creation, results recording, and usage decision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage functional and non functional requirements for new capabilities.
• Convert business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyze current processes (As-Is) and define improved future workflows (To-Be) using standard process modeling tools.

3. Collaboration and Documentation

• Act as a liaison between business units, SAP configuration and development teams, and external vendor teams.
• Participate in requirement reviews, test case reviews, and user acceptance testing sessions.
• Maintain project documentation such as requirements traceability matrices, process flowcharts, and training materials.

Learning Outcomes

During the internship you will gain exposure to testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, and Jira, along with practical experience working with the SAP Quality Management module.
