Airbus India is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for the role of Apprentice - Structures at its Bangalore location. This program places you within the Structures department, focusing on Materials and Processes used in aircraft development and manufacturing.

Program Overview

This is a structured apprenticeship program with an expected duration of about 12 months. During this period, you will work alongside experienced professionals and receive guidance from a dedicated tutor who will help you define professional goals and build technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of materials and manufacturing processes used in aircraft production.
• Assess sustainability aspects and environmental footprint of materials and processes applied in Airbus aircraft.
• Evaluate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) implications related to materials and process choices.
• Support digitalization initiatives in materials data and explore the use of AI or ML approaches to improve materials and processes.

Skills and Exposure

• Aircraft materials including metals and composite materials.
• Sustainability assessment of materials and manufacturing processes in aviation.
• Opportunities for digitalization and automation in materials data and materials informatics.
