About the Role
As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will play a vital role in implementing the configuration management plan under the direction of the Configuration Lead. You will assist in designing and customizing software configurations that align with business process requirements and application goals. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless configuration management and supporting problem-solving discussions to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement configuration management plans as guided by the Configuration Lead
- Assist in designing software configuration and customization to meet business needs
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth configuration processes
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving configuration-related challenges
- Participate in problem-solving discussions to improve configuration workflows
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software configuration processes and best practices
- Provide input on software customization options to meet evolving business requirements
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
Technical Skills Required
Python, Git, Software Configuration Management, Version Control Systems, Software Development Lifecycle, Software Customization Techniques
Professional Experience Required
- Professional experience in Python programming
- Strong understanding of software configuration management principles
- Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts and practices
