Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria

1. For Internship Scheme

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Students must be pursuing (or have recently completed within 6 months) UG/PG/PhD in Science or Technology disciplines.
• Applicable for students from Indian and foreign recognized universities.
• Minimum academic requirement:
  • 60% aggregate marks or
  • CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.

2. For Student Project Trainee Scheme

• No stipend or financial support will be provided.

• On successful completion and submission of the final report, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, post evaluation by the concerned department.

  • Availability of guides/faculty at IIRS,
  • Academic performance and background,
  • Subject-relevance to ongoing research,
  • Duration and timing of the proposed work.
• Internship/Project cannot be extended beyond initially approved duration.
• Interns will only work in non-classified areas of ISRO/IIRS facilities.
• Publishing any part of the work requires pre-approval from IIRS/ISRO.
