The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced its External Student Internship Programme for 2026. This initiative offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge research and development in remote sensing, geoinformatics, geoscience, atmospheric science, and other space technology disciplines.

The internship is divided into two main categories — the General Internship Scheme and the Student Project Trainee Scheme — each with separate eligibility norms.
