Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical)

The GCC Vadodara campus is hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to assist with new product development and engineering initiatives related to plastic and mechanical product design. The role involves supporting projects focused on product development, sustain engineering, design for assembly and manufacturing, and mold-flow analysis using different plastic materials. Candidates with a strong interest in mechanical or plastic engineering and a willingness to learn and collaborate are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the mechanical design and development of products involving plastic and metallic components.
  • Support tolerance stack-up studies, DFMEA, and DFM activities during product development.
  • Create 2D and 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using Creo.
  • Follow established design and quality standards as required by project guidelines.
  • Work with cross-functional global teams to deliver engineering outputs.

Required Competencies

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensioning standards, and basic GD&T.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

Preferred Exposure

  • Academic project or hands-on exposure in product design or manufacturing.
  • Practical experience with Creo software.
  • Demonstrated technical or leadership potential.
