About the Role
FamPay is seeking passionate Web Engineer Interns to join our engineering team at our Bangalore headquarters. Our internship program is designed to identify and nurture future team members, offering challenging work tailored to your capabilities. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to craft high-quality web experiences and contribute to the evolution of Fam's web products.
We value individuals who enjoy building interfaces from scratch and thrive on solving complex challenges. When issues arise, you'll play a key role in enhancing performance, ensuring resilience, and delivering smooth user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance user-facing web applications for FamPay.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to convert requirements into functional UI components.
- Write clean, maintainable frontend code with proper documentation.
- Implement, test, and deploy features for real-world users.
- Debug issues and optimize performance across devices.
Must-Have Qualifications
- B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js through projects, coursework, or internships.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript or willingness to learn.
- Understanding of modern styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS.
- Familiarity with UI animations using CSS or libraries like Framer Motion.
- Introductory knowledge of Next.js and rendering concepts (SSR, SSG).
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with frontend testing tools (Jest, Vitest, Playwright).
- Knowledge of modern build tools like Vite or ESBuild.
- Experience building PWAs, web views, or production-ready projects.
- Open-source contributions, hackathon participation, or side projects.
