Roles and Responsibilities

As a Junior Engineer – Software Engineering at Unisys, you will:

Work as an active team member and engage in continuous learning of tools and processes.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and improving team efficiency as you gain experience.
Escalate technical issues to mentors or supervisors as needed.
Implement defined software tasks under guidance, including simple features and test cases.
Write and execute pre-defined tests, document problems, and assist in system setup and maintenance.
Analyze technical problems in assigned areas and assist with debugging and resolution.
Fix bugs and provide patch documentation for minor issues with assistance from senior team members.
Review test cases for accuracy and handle client requests and feedback within your product domain.
Work effectively as part of a global, distributed team with remote collaboration.
Participate in innovation and knowledge documentation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
Good command over spoken and written English
Willingness to work in a collaborative and diverse environment
Ability to communicate clearly and follow guidance from stakeholders across different global locations
Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
