What success looks like in this role
In this position you will perform routine service desk support activities with guidance. The role focuses on helping users resolve common technical issues and ensuring service requests are handled efficiently.
- Provide first-line user support by guiding users through steps required to restore functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues using remote access tools.
- Escalate complex or unresolved incidents to second- and third-level resolver teams.
- Coordinate and complete end-user service requests, including software installation and user administration related tasks.
- Manage support tickets through closure while keeping users informed about progress and status.
- Follow service desk procedures along with desktop, peripheral, connectivity, and security policies.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of the service desk knowledge base.
- Deliver support in line with organizational service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with additional projects or tasks assigned by the team.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Typically less than one year of experience in a related support area.
