What success looks like in this role
With guidance, the Associate Technical Service Desk professional performs routine support activities to assist end users and maintain service continuity.
- Provide first line user support by guiding users through the steps required to restore system functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems using remote access tools.
- Escalate more complex incidents to second and third level resolver teams when required.
- Coordinate and complete end user service requests, including software installation and user administration tasks.
- Manage support tickets through to resolution while keeping users and clients informed of status and progress.
- Follow Service Desk procedures, including policies related to desktop systems, peripherals, connectivity, and security.
- Contribute to improvements in the Service Desk knowledge base.
- Deliver outcomes aligned with organizational service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support additional assignments or special projects when required.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Typically less than one year of experience in a related support or service environment.
