Role and Impact
As a Trainee Software Developer at Topsoe, you will contribute to the enhancement of existing applications and assist in the operation and lifecycle planning of current tools. Your responsibilities will span programming, documentation, and knowledge sharing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will develop in-house software tools and applications using Ionic, Angular, and TypeScript, while supporting and improving complex applications built with these technologies. Additionally, you will escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction. This position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on real-world projects.
What You Will Bring
- Passion for software development and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Foundational understanding of programming concepts, particularly in .NET and C#.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience or familiarity with Ionic, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Good grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- Strong communication skills and client-facing abilities.
- Attention to detail and capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred degree in Software Engineering (B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, or M.Tech) from a reputed institute, or a background in Chemical Engineering with software development experience.
- Additional knowledge in process, chemical, or mechanical engineering, or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
