About the Role
Texas Instruments is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In your first year, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which offers professional and technical training to set you up for long-term career success. You will gain hands-on experience in product, test, and validation engineering, working with teams, customers, and partners worldwide to design, build, qualify, and support our industry-leading analog and embedded processing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize test software and hardware.
- Debug products and perform test optimization to ensure competitiveness and quality.
- Support new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion, and yield enhancement projects.
- Resolve customer quality and application issues.
- Collaborate with wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Core Engineering Concepts
- Product Engineering: Data analysis, manufacturing systems, product qualification and reliability tests, device failure verification.
- Test Engineering: Basic test concepts, automated test equipment usage, hardware design, software development, bench setup verification.
- Validation Engineering: Validation concepts, bench setups, hardware/software development, device debugging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
- Knowledge of analog circuitry (op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing).
- Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in teams and manage time effectively.
