Roles & responsibilities

We are hiring a Tax Analyst to support the tax affairs of the KPMG UK group. The role involves working mostly with the internal tax team, with some collaboration with the finance team and other parts of the firm.

• Preparation of various schedules required to complete or support the tax computations of KPMG, particularly the firm's PAYE Settlement Agreement with HMRC.
• Assistance with the preparation of overseas employment tax filings for the UK firm.
• Tools and Data Extraction: Extract, reconcile accounting entries, and analyse data from KPMG systems, including S4HANA, Concur, Coupa, etc.
• Data Verification: Liaise with internal information providers to ensure accuracy of analysis.
• Reporting and Communication: Report analysis and findings to team members within specified timescales.
• Additional Responsibilities: Engage in ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

• Tax Understanding: No prior tax experience is required. Aspire to develop a comprehension of tax treatment for specific items.
