Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hosur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with firewalls, wireless access points, routing and switching, and a strong focus on network security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Firewall Configuration & Troubleshooting
  • Configure and manage Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and FortiGate firewalls.
  • Implement and troubleshoot security policies, NAT configurations, and VPN setups (IPsec/SSL).
  • Analyze traffic issues, session handling, and policy violations.
  • Perform SSL decryption and regular policy reviews.
• Wireless Network Management (Meraki & Catalyst)
  • Deploy and configure Meraki and Catalyst access points with multiple SSIDs and VLANs.
  • Address connectivity and RF performance issues.
  • Monitor client activity and conduct packet captures via the Meraki dashboard.
• Switching and Routing
  • Manage and configure network equipment from Cisco, HPE, Nexus, Aruba, Arista, and Juniper.
  • Set up VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, STP, and manage OSPF/EIGRP routing protocols.
  • Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Network Monitoring & Performance
  • Use monitoring tools for log analysis and traffic management.
  • Resolve issues related to packet loss, interface errors, and performance degradation.
  • Monitor critical KPIs to ensure consistent uptime and throughput.
• Security & Compliance
  • Enforce internal and regulatory network security policies.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Support audit processes and maintain compliance readiness.
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Generate reports on incidents, configurations, and performance metrics.
