Tata 1mg
Tata 1mg is an Indian digital healthcare platform that provides online pharmacy, diagnostics, teleconsultation, and health information services. Founded in 2015 (evolving from the earlier HealthKartPlus platform) and headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, the company aims to make healthcare accessible, understandable, and affordable for consumers across India. Through its mobile app and website, Tata 1mg enables users to order prescription medicines, book lab tests, consult doctors online, and access a large library of verified medical information. The platform partners with licensed pharmacies and diagnostic labs while also operating its own logistics and lab networks in several cities.
In 2021, Tata Digital acquired a majority stake in 1mg, integrating it into the broader Tata ecosystem and strengthening its position in India's rapidly growing digital health and e-pharmacy market. The company has grown to employ over a thousand people and serves millions of customers nationwide. Known for its strong brand credibility and technology-driven healthcare services, Tata 1mg is considered one of the leading players in India's online pharmacy and health-tech sector, competing with platforms such as PharmEasy and Netmeds.
