Job Summary
We are seeking highly talented and ambitious individuals to join our Technology team at Standard Chartered Bank. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business problems and deliver technically advanced solutions
- Foster innovation, automation, and creative problem-solving
- Collaborate effectively within global teams as a strong team player
- Apply knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, OOPs concepts and frameworks
- Stay curious and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
- Communicate effectively across diverse teams and geographies
- Work with Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint goals
Desired Competencies
- Strong technical foundation in programming and software development
- Exposure to next-gen technologies and coding practices
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to think out-of-the-box and drive innovation
- Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, or open-source contributions is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications such as Google Developer Certification, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer are preferred
- Experience with HackerRank, TopCoder, or similar platforms desirable
- Familiarity with emerging technologies like IoT, Blockchain, Deep Learning is an advantage

- Object-Oriented Programming (preferably Java)
- Microservices architecture
- UI frameworks (Angular, React)
- Applied Mathematics and Algorithms
- AI, NLP, and Machine Learning
