About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with engineers across the company.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of systems your team operates.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to delivery, developing both technical and project management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field (to be completed by Summer 2026) or equivalent experience.
- Basic programming experience through coursework or personal projects, ideally in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go.
- Experience working collaboratively on coding projects, either academically or professionally.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems independently and with mentorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized knowledge in areas such as frontend technologies or backend service architecture.
- Experience with code review best practices and safe deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with large codebases.
Work Environment
Stripe follows a hybrid work model, with Bengaluru-based employees expected to work from the office full-time for this role. This fosters collaboration, learning, and team engagement.
