The role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of coding, application design and development, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Our Apprentices will have the opportunity to work with State Street Technology Services at our Hyderabad and Bangalore office locations.

What you will be responsible for

As an Associate 2, you will:

• Analyze business and technical requirement documents
• Contribute to application design, development, testing, and deployment
• Participate in agile team meetings such as stand-up calls and retrospective meetings
• Prepare technical documentation required for the adopted SDLC process
• Collaborate with various State Street internal teams
• Understand cloud computing fundamentals including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, NaaS, and AWS & Azure
• Work with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and Harness
• Use monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana for dashboards and presentations
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering and ITIL processes, including ticketing and project management tools like ServiceNow and Jira/Confluence
• Understand database, middleware, storage, Windows, and Unix operating environment concepts
• Use automation tools and languages such as R, Python, Ansible, Blue Prism (RPA), and Django for automating network configurations

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA degree or equivalent in a related field
• Working knowledge and skills in GUI development with Java middle and database back-end to create an end-to-end solution are desirable
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and common practices such as code reviews and unit testing
• Good understanding of SQL performance tuning techniques, including query plan understanding and management, SQL tracing, DB stats, and indexing techniques, is highly preferred
• Good at managing and resolving problems on a live production system
