Position Overview
We are seeking creative, energetic, and driven entry-level software engineers to join our technology team in Trivandrum. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and develop your skills with leading-edge technologies in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design requirements for small systems or modules within medium to large-scale environments, along with technical documentation.
- Apply fundamental software engineering principles and follow development instructions.
- Provide constructive feedback during release processes, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Adopt modern development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate systems with corporate product platforms.
- Participate in architecture discussions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work within agile development teams, leveraging automation to enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ months of Java programming experience.
- 6+ months of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with UI development using HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA, and microservices.
- Knowledge of version control tools (SVN, Git, GitHub) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum, XP).
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
- Understanding of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of agile engineering best practices, engineering design patterns, DevOps, SecOps, and FinOps.
- Ability to decompose business requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
- Curiosity and creativity in finding efficient solutions to meet business goals.
- Awareness of industry trends and system integration principles.
