About the Role

Equifax is seeking enthusiastic and driven entry-level Software Engineers to join our technology team in Pune. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, develop new skills, and collaborate with talented professionals using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply fundamental software engineering principles under guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews, release processes, and design discussions.
  • Learn and implement modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems with corporate platforms.
  • Contribute to technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in Java programming.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

  • Proactive and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Experience in UI development using HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA, and Microservices.
  • Experience with version control systems (SVN/Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
  • Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP.
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
