About the Role
Equifax is seeking enthusiastic and driven entry-level Software Engineers to join our technology team in Pune. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, develop new skills, and collaborate with talented professionals using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply fundamental software engineering principles under guidance.
- Participate in code reviews, release processes, and design discussions.
- Learn and implement modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems with corporate platforms.
- Contribute to technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 months of experience in Java programming.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Preferred Skills
- Proactive and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Experience in UI development using HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of backend technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA, and Microservices.
- Experience with version control systems (SVN/Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP.
- Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
