Overview
Responsibilities
Develop application code and test case scenarios while following established software craftsmanship practices and meeting defined acceptance criteria. Complete the assigned learning path and contribute actively in daily team meetings.
Work across the full Software Development Lifecycle in alignment with Agile methodologies and IT craftsmanship standards. Participate in team ceremonies including agile practices and chapter discussions.
- Write clean, reusable code and maintain high standards in design and implementation.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement APIs and data access rules.
- Support release validation by ensuring defect free deployments and producing test and defect reports.
- Assist in developing scripts, configuring quality checks, and supporting automation framework usage.
- Run and maintain test suites with guidance from senior team members.
- Support existing data models, data dictionaries, data pipeline standards, and metadata storage across source, processing, and consumer layers.
Profile Required
- Strong inclination toward programming and software development.
- Understanding of front end, middle tier, and back end programming concepts.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language is advantageous.
- Ability to work with design and automation tools.
- Basic familiarity with continuous integration practices.
- Awareness of datasets and data catalog concepts.
- Understanding of data warehouse planning and the ability to communicate related plans with internal stakeholders.
