About the Role

As a Software Development Engineer 1 at Nokia, you will be part of the Optical Networks division, driving innovation in the AI-driven data center era. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new functionalities using AI and Machine Learning technologies.
• Work with agile development tools such as JIRA, GIT, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to debug and enhance systems.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure product functionality and quality before releasing new features and enhancements to end users.

Required Skills

• Programming Languages: Java, Python, Go, JavaScript
• Database Systems: SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and cloud storage systems
• AI/ML: Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Basic understanding of network protocols and standards

Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science with strong academic performance.
