Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Software Engineer (IC1), you will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software services. Collaborating closely with senior engineers, you will enhance your programming skills, apply computer science fundamentals, and adhere to engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, eager to learn modern technologies in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established standards.
• Participate in code reviews and integrate feedback to improve code quality.
• Assist in building scalable services and applications while learning distributed systems concepts.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and support system reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices.
• Contribute to team discussions and help improve engineering processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++ or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with APIs, debugging, and version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of distributed systems or microservices.
• Knowledge of databases (RDBMS).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Internship experience or academic projects showcasing coding ability.
• Exposure to cloud concepts, big data, or modern development tools.
• Experience with open-source projects, hackathons, or competitive programming.
