SOC Analyst at Medpace Navi Mumbai | Cybersecurity Role

Job Description

Medpace is seeking a full-time SOC Analyst who is technically driven, eager to learn new technologies, and focused on security. The Information Security team protects the organization’s digital infrastructure by designing, implementing, and improving cybersecurity architecture.

This role focuses on protecting infrastructure, cloud environments, edge devices, and company data from unauthorized access, modification, or loss. The position also supports the ongoing improvement of internal security practices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement security solutions while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Analyze existing security systems and recommend improvements.
• Research vulnerabilities, perform vulnerability scans, and mitigate potential threats.
• Strengthen internal security policies and best practices across the organization.
• Create new security processes, cross train team members, and assist employees with security related questions.
• Deliver security awareness training and run testing to ensure adherence to company security protocols.
• Conduct cybersecurity incident triage, review logs, and perform remediation activities.
• Review system access and reduce unnecessary or excessive permissions to maintain least privilege access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
• Internship or co-op exposure within Information Security is beneficial.
• Understanding of security best practices and how they can be applied across an organization.
• Experience working with security technologies such as:
• SIEM platforms
• Endpoint Detection and Response tools
• Cloud architecture environments such as Microsoft Azure
• Privileged Access Management and Identity Access solutions
• Active Directory
• Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in small teams, and analytical problem solving capabilities.
• Basic scripting knowledge such as PowerShell or Python.
