Role Overview
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Intern to join our CloudOps/SRE team. This internship offers hands-on experience in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and availability of large-scale production systems, while learning industry best practices in monitoring, automation, and incident management.

Key Learning Outcomes
- Understand Poshmark’s technology stack and infrastructure.
- Learn fundamentals of Site Reliability Engineering including monitoring, alerting, automation, and incident response.
- Gain experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools.
- Assist in building or enhancing automation scripts, dashboards, and internal tools.
- Contribute to small-scale projects under senior engineer guidance.
- Observe on-call processes and incident management workflows.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health, performance, and availability of services.
- Support senior engineers with infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
- Create or update dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic production issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to align operational needs.
- Follow best practices for reliability, security, and automation.
- Document processes and learnings for team use.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX systems.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
- Basic cloud concepts knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Interest in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proactive learning mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Web & Middleware: Nginx, Tomcat, HAProxy
