Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable components using Django/Python for Bright's Smart Banking Platform.
• Create intelligent algorithms and subsystems for lending and financial communications.
• Propose efficient design solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute marketing and communications strategies.
• Conduct periodic and ad-hoc analyses of user acquisition activities and recommend strategic marketing investment allocations.
• Promote data literacy within the team and encourage adoption of in-house data tools.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities using first principles thinking.
• Experience integrating and developing REST services over backend frameworks (Django, Node.js).
• Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience mentoring, conducting code reviews, and delivering technical presentations.
• Prior experience with Python-based frameworks.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases at scale.
• Competitive programming achievements are a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
