Sales Support (French Desk), Associate, Institutional Equity Division
This role sits within the Sales Support function and provides dedicated assistance to the French onshore Derivatives Sales Desk. The position involves end-to-end ownership of operational, documentation, coordination, and lifecycle management activities related to structured notes, OTC derivatives, and RSP trades.
The Associate works closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Issuance, and Operations teams, supporting execution while also contributing analytical input.

The Global Markets Group acts as the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley's Sales and Trading businesses in India, supporting a range of IED functions including sales, trading, analytics, strategy, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational and analytical support to the French Equity Derivatives Sales Desk.
- Handle post-trade activities such as trade booking, allocations, trade recap distribution, and resolving settlement or confirmation issues.
- Maintain accuracy and controls across the entire front-to-back trade lifecycle.
- Reconcile transactions involving structured notes, OTC derivatives, and RSP trades.
- Serve as a primary contact between Sales and Operations teams for booking, lifecycle, and settlement queries.
- Identify process gaps and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support workflow automation.
Skills and Knowledge
- Basic to good understanding of equity derivatives products, knowledge of the French securities market is an advantage.
- Fluency in spoken and written French is mandatory, strong command of English required.
- Strong analytical ability with close attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with several stakeholders.
- Understanding of product lifecycle and post-trade processes.
- Coding or automation exposure such as Excel VBA or Python is beneficial.
