About the Role
Rockwell Automation is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join our Quality Engineering team as ETL Test Engineers / Test Automation Engineers. This role provides hands-on exposure to automation testing, writing test scripts, debugging, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain strong foundations in testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automation test scripts
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test cases
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Debug test failures, analyse logs, and report defects
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks
- Write and execute SQL queries for database validation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Python programming (loops, functions, OOP concepts)
- SQL queries for data validation
- Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (manual + automation)
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or similar)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, REST API)
Technical Skills (comma separated for backend parsing)
